Everyone's finally well!

Well Lexie and i have finished our antibiotics and Jonah seems to be fine right now, so Hallelujah! I am so tired of sickness and i can't imagine how mom's with more than 2 kids do it. Now if i could just somehow get the kids to go to sleep at nite and STAY asleep until morning, ooooweee! I'd be in hog heaven!

Mom turned 61 on Wednesday, but Dad put her candles on backward (on purpose) so we had a sweet 16 party instead. :) Lexie was the overseer of unwrapping gifts, and she helped blow out the candles as well. We went out to eat and she also informed the waiter that it was Nana's birthday. I thought that was so funny because if i had done that i would've been in BIG trouble, but Lexie totally got away with it!

Jonah and Lexie sat on John for a good chunk of the evening. They adore him. It's so cute the way they look at him. I think he adores them too!

Well i have to head to work now....

What am i DOING?

I don't know what i think i'm doing trying to start a blog, but here i sit. I don't have time to keep this up, plus i rarely have anything interesting to say, but i am going to try this. So many of my family live far away, and this could be a good way to keep them up to speed on what the kids are doing. Lexie just turned 5 and Jonah is 15 months old now, and it seems like they both do new things every day. Our days consist of running errands, and whenever possible we go to the park, children's museum, duck pond, or maybe astro golfing. Lexie loves to draw and color and sculpt with clay and playdough. Jonah really enjoys tearing things up and putting them in his mouth. He runs faster than i do, so this can be a problem. They both love music. They dance and sing and i'm so glad because i can no longer afford to leave the apartment for entertainment! :)

Of course i still have Bob and Bella. Bob will turn 11 in April and Bella will be 8 in August ( i think. i need to double check on that one.) Some of you know Bob was missing for a week prior to Thanksgiving. That made me very aware that no matter how annoying those cats can be, they are members of our family. We were just devastated while he was missing. He turned up on Thanksgiving night, a week to the minute almost from when he had gotten out in the first place. That was a great lesson about answered prayer for Miss Lexie.

Well Jonah is waking up from his nap and i must get these kids to the library before Lexie just has a cow, so i must go but will try to have more updates soon!
